As always, London has a host of events at Easter time and we have chosen our top picks for you. If you’re staying with us, all of the events listed below are within easy reach of our Aparthotels, by tube, bus or on foot and our friendly team may also have a few of their own ideas up their sleeve, just ask at Reception!
The Passion of Jesus in Trafalgar Square is a FREE live performance of the biblical story, acted out by more than 100 performers in stunning costumes. This event is extremely popular and attracts visitors of all faiths. There are 2 showings on Good Friday, 14th April at 12:00 and 15:15. The event is projected onto 2 large screens, for everyone in the square to enjoy. A couple of members from the Supercity team went last year and it comes highly recommended! The National Gallery is also on Trafalgar Square with their own exhibition, so pop along there before or after the show
Jurassic Kingdom in Osterley Park is open daily during the Easter holidays. This is a great day out for the family and is easily accessible by tube. Life-size dinosaurs roar and settle in around the park, prepare to be amazed!
The Tall Ships Regatta in Greenwich and Woolwich offer a spectacular show as the ships cruise along the River Thames for the four days over Easter before they set sail for their trip to Canada. You can also climb aboard a ship and watch the fireworks display. The Parade of Sail starts at 17:00 on Easter Sunday, 16th April from Deptford Creek.
