As the title suggests, were bringing you our top 10 of the best views London has to offer… Whether you’re here on a holiday or just a Londoner looking for some inspiration, even if you have a tight budget, you’ve come to the right place!
The Shard: Undoubtedly the highest viewpoint in London. If you’re feeling flush, there’s a good selection of bars and restaurants so you can enjoy a meal or a drink with a view!
Primrose Hill: If you go to the summit, Primrose Hill offers some wonderful views across London for Free! Separated from Regent’s Park by Prince Albert Road. A lovely day out when it’s sunny.
The London Eye: The world’s largest observation wheel, on the bank of the River Thames launched in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium! The views are great from here and they also do private pod events, great for a get-together or a special occasion.
Up at the O2: You can climb to the top of the O2; on a clear day you can see landmarks up to 15 miles away! They also do a twilight climb, if you want to impress someone with amazing views of the twinkling stars and London city!
Emirates Airline: This is a cheap and cheerful ride across the river Thames with great views of its own. See local attractions, such as Canary Wharf, Cutty Sark, Thames Barrier and Greenwich Peninsular to name a few! Worth a ride if you’re on a budget, or just fancy seeing something different.
St Paul’s Cathedral: A must-see London attraction in its own right, but ensure you take a trip to the top of the dome for some great views of the city too.
Duck & Waffle / Sushi Samba: Both located in the Heron Tower; Duck & Waffle is the city’s highest 24/7 restaurant, one floor above Sushi Samba. Sushi Samba is a vibrant place to eat and drink with a great outdoor terrace. The food is amazing in both venues, definitely worth a visit!
Big Ben: This one is for the Londoners… Did you know that you can actually go to the top if Big Ben? You need to be a UK resident, but you get to climb to the top for free! You will need to contact your MP for more info on this, but it’s a great view, from such a historical and iconic London site.
Greenwich Park: The Royal Observatory can be visited for a fee, but the park is free to explore! If you go to the highest point of the park you’ll see great views of East London and on a sunny day you can also see the Thames, this is a great day out for families.
Tower Bridge: There are amazing river views from Tower Bridge, especially on a sunny day. You can also purchase tickets to go into one of its towers for a small fee, why not make a day of it and take a trip to The Tower of London, which is a short stroll away.
